La Luz Gastronomy Festival

A sunny and gorgeous Sunday, like the one we had today, reminds me of how much I like Costa Rica. Will and I went to Barrio Escalante, where the 2nd La Luz Gastronomy Festival took place. We got there early, just in time to try a choripán without having to wait in line.

We then tasted some samples: beer from the Beer Factory, ice cream from Del Cocal and cheese from Le Chaudron. Beautiful designs like those from Freak Flops and Loop, among others, where made to delight the eye.

The environment was great for families. We saw kids enjoying the view from dad’s shoulders and elders appreciating the presence of their relatives. Some even decided to bring their pets along.

The festival continues until 9:00 pm so you’re still on time to be a part of this initiative that combines art, design, culture, and gastronomy. The lamb burger at Sofía Mediterráneo and the Greek wine at Maki is a must!

Hope you enjoy it too!
